There is absolutely no fluff in this course. Understanding that the decoy is a huge variable in the final outcome of the Patrol Canine, this course dives deep into the behavior of the canines and how a decoy can create and reinforce desired behaviors using the canines’ natural instincts and drives. Its also just as important to learn how to read and reduce or eliminate undesired behaviors. After the behavior aspect is taught we move on to coaching the main grips, ( back and triceps, frontals and legs) and explain why and what the benefits are and how they relate to the canines psychology. Depending on the length of the class, we also go into hidden equipment, muzzles and dynamic environmental scenarios as it pertains to the decoys responsibility to build the canine. This class is designed to be informative when it comes to understanding and teaching behavior, putting an understanding to “why” when using drives.
